An online workshop

Living Yoga

Yoga X Life
Saturday, 11 April
2:00 - 4:00 PM

Join us online to explore how yogic texts can provide inspiration for difficult times. Although their ultimate goals involve renouncing worldly life, they also promote peace of mind and harmonious relationships.

Drawing on a range of traditional texts, we'll reflect on their meanings in practical ways to reveal how their teachings relate to our lives.

We'll look at the origins of yogic techniques as a way to escape from the cycle of births, and consider how this differs from modern priorities. In the process, we'll ask if ancient texts need to be reinterpreted for the twenty-first century.

If you're curious about where yoga comes from - or looking for ways to put its philosophy into practice - this discussion will be rich in ideas!

The workshop is hosted on Zoom, with ample time for Q&A.

Originally scheduled in Newcastle.
