A Four-Week Course
Saturdays (11.00-12.00), from 11 May
This approach to yoga is dynamic and accessible. It is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience.
You don't have to be bendy, or exceptionally fit. Many sportsmen use yoga to help them recover and stay injury-free: it focuses the mind while building strength and flexibility.
The cost for three weekly classes (on 11, 18 and 25 May) is £20, payable in advance. Drop-ins also possible by arrangement.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Comfortable clothing for indoor activity. Shorts and a t-shirt are ideal, plus an extra layer to keep warm at the end.
DO I NEED equipment?
Please bring a yoga mat if possible. Cheap ones are available online for less than £10. A few rental mats may be available.
CAN I EAT BEFORE class?
It's best to leave a couple of hours after eating a meal. Less is OK if you have a light snack.
Please contact Daniel to discuss any injuries or health issues, or come early to chat before class. You can also let him know if you’d prefer not to be adjusted in postures - most instructions are verbal, but touch is sometimes used for guidance.
About the Teacher
Daniel Simpson has been studying yoga in various forms for 20 years. He first encountered it in India, and has since learned from teachers all over the world, mainly in the Ashtanga and Iyengar lineages. He holds a teaching certificate from a Yoga Alliance-accredited school.
